The California State Numismatic Association (CSNA shall hold its One Hundred Thirty-Second (132nd) Annual Convention and Coin Show over the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, July 12 and 13, 2014 in Vallejo, California
The weekend Convention and Coin Show will be at the well-established Vallejo Veterans Memorial Building, 420 Admiral Callaghan Lane, off Tennessee Street at I-80, in east Vallejo
The Building has ample free parking and easy access.The Convention will occupy the entire venue.
The 2014 CSNA Convention and Coin Show will be a full two days: bourse, two collector meetings, Western States Token Society (WESTS) and the California Exonumist Society (CES), youth activities both days, Saturday evening banquet, and exhibits.
“We have implementing plans and advancing preparations for this first CSNA gathering in northern California in over a decade, and we want it to be a full event,” reported Michael S. Turrini, who is the General Coordinator for this 2014 Conventi on plus the current California State Numismatic Association (CSNA) President.
The theme is‘Treasure Island: The Exposition Seventy-Five (75) Years Ago’, commemoratingthe 1939 and 1940 well-remembered Golden Gate International Exposition (GGIE) on the man-made island in San Francisco Bay. An extensive display of ‘GGIE’ is anticipated.
The Vallejo Veterans Memorial Building is thesite for the local Vallejo Numismatic Society’s annual Vallejo Coin Shows held on the first weekend of each May.
