What is Heritage’s return policy?
Heritage offers a three (3) day return policy for all Internet auctions (does not include Signature Auctions). Policy varies by type of Auction. See the “Additional Terms and Conditions” section of our Terms & Conditions.
What is the Buyer’s Premium?
A Buyer’s Premium will be added per lot to the successful bid (varies by venue, please see #2 in our Terms & Conditions). There is a minimum Buyer’s Premium of $14.00 per lot.
Do I have to Pay Sales Tax?
Lots delivered in the States of California, Texas, New York, or any other state where the auction is held, are subject to all applicable state and local taxes, unless appropriate permits are on file with us. Find out more…
How much will my service and handling be?
Our service and handling charges include shipping, handling and private carrier insurance. Shipping varies according to the item type, quantity, and value (for insurance purposes). Wine shipments require this Delivery Collection Form, and are subject to delays due to extreme weather. View our complete shipping chart.
If I win, how do I pay?
For expedited shipping or delivery in person, upon receipt of your invoice, please remit payment a bank wire, cashier’s check or bank money order. Clients with pre-arranged credit status will receive immediate credit for payments via eCheck, personal or corporate checks. All others will be subject to a hold of 5 days, or more, for the funds to clear prior to releasing merchandise.
For your convenience, payments can be made from the MyOrders page of the HA.com website by eCheck, but allow 24-48 hours from the end of the auction for invoices to appear on this Page. For more information, by type of auction, please go to the specific category on HA.com.
If I win, when will I receive my lots?
Allow 7-14 days to receive the items you won (14-21 days for Musical Instruments, Arms & Armor, and Movie Posters). See item #38-41 in our Terms & Conditions
