By Hubert Walker for CoinWeek ….
As of Monday, November 30, rolls and bags for the 2015 America the Beautiful Saratoga National Historical Park quarter are now available from the United States Mint. Also available from authorized dealers on Monday is the 2015 Saratoga National Historical Park 5 oz. silver bullion coin.

Rolls and bags from the U.S. Mint contain uncirculated business strike specimens from Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco. And while coins with “P” and “D” mint marks can be found in circulation, quarters with the “S” mint mark cannot and are available only in the 100-coin bag, two-roll set and three-roll set product options on sale at catalog.usmint.gov.

The America the Beautiful silver bullion coin program has been a popular one, and the fifth and final release of 2015 should be no exception. The Mint reported brisk sales after only the first day, with 35,800 units of the .999 fine silver coin sold.

Previous coins in the series sold out of their allotted runs within relatively short amounts of time:

  • The Homestead National Monument silver bullion coin went on sale February 17 and officially sold out by March 31. Total units sold: 35,000.
  • The Kisatchie National Forest silver bullion coin went on sale April 20 and officially sold out by May 7. Total units sold: 42,000.
  • The Blue Ridge Parkway silver bullion coin went on sale June 22 and temporarily sold out the same day. Sales resumed on July 13 and the U.S. Mint later announced that the coin had officially sold out by July 29. Total units sold: 45,000.
  • The Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge silver bullion coin went on sale September 28 and officially sold out only a day later on September 29. Total units sold: 45,000.
