52nd Hawaii State Numismatic Association Coin Show Oct. 23

The Hawaii State Numismatic Association will hold its 52nd Coin Show from Friday, October 23 to Sunday, October 25 2015 at the Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu.

The show will feature over 65 coin and stamp dealers from Hawaii and the Mainland, selling and buying coins, currency, stamps, postcards, Hawaiiana and other collectibles.

Patti Finner, a special representative from the American Numismatic Association (ANA) and Boy Scouts of America, will be conducting a coin collecting merit badge clinic Saturday and Sunday. See www.alohacouncilbsa.org for additional information and times for on this program.

“Find a Coin” Contest

Seven specially marked 2008 Hawaii State Quarters will be placed in circulation on Oahu prior to the Show. Each quarter will be engraved with the letters HSNA. Anyone finding one of these quarters can redeem it at the HSNA 52nd Coin Show with the first recipient at the door receiving a $500 Coin Show gift certificate and the second receiving a $200 Coin Show gift certificate. The remaining lucky holders will receive $50 Coin Show gift certificates. The certificate can only be used to purchase items at the HSNA Coin Show with any participating dealer.

Hourly prize drawings will be held during the three-day show, with special prize drawings for keiki 12 years of age and under. Coin and currency exhibits and coin collecting seminars will be featured at the show.

A specially designed coin to commemorate the 52nd HSNA Coin Show will be given out free at the door to those who attend, while supplies last.

Admission to the 52nd Coin Show is free.

Saturday, October 24, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Sunday, October 25, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
