Money Show of the Southwest Opening Ceremony

The 55th annual Money Show of the Southwest opened Thursday in Houston, Texas, sponsored by the Greater Houston Coin Club. This year’s convention included more than 200 dealers from around the country trading in coins, precious metals, paper money and other collectibles.
It was the 55th annual convention for the club that prides itself on the staff of club volunteers who continue their hard work to make this the #1 convention in the Southwest.
GHCC President Gail Brichford lead the opening ceremony for the convention that included statements by show chairman Claude Mathes and Abraham Lincoln as portrayed by actor Dennis Boggs.
