Stack’s Bowers Galleries to Present the Official Auction of the November 2012 Whitman Coin and Collectibles Baltimore Expo

Irvine, Calif.Stack’s Bowers Galleries, preeminent auctioneer of rare coins and paper money, will be conducting the Official Auction of the November 2012 Whitman Coin and Collectibles Baltimore Expo. Held at the Baltimore Convention Center November 13–17, 2012, the auction will present nearly 10,000 total lots, including more than 4,000 lots of U.S. coins and exonumia and almost 1,100 lots of U.S. currency, plus over 2,500 lots of world coins and over 400 lots of world paper money. Lot viewing will begin Tuesday, November 13, 2012 in Baltimore, with earlier viewings by appointment in Irvine, Calif. and New York City.

“We are eagerly anticipating our return to Baltimore to conduct one of the biggest and best auctions of the year,” said Chris Napolitano, president of Stack’s Bowers Galleries. “Our November 2012 Baltimore Auction will present an amazing assortment of U.S. coins and currency, and world coins and currency. Headlining this event will be our spectacular Rarities Night Auction, as well as our Early American Coin session in cooperation with The Colonial Coin Collectors Club.“

The Colonial Coin Collectors Club (C4) — a non-profit organization that seeks to increase the public’s knowledge about colonial numismatics and to promote the study of colonial coins — will also hold its annual convention at the November 2012 Whitman Coin and Collectibles Baltimore Expo.
