[Sarasota, Florida] – Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC®),  the world’s largest third-party coin grading company, has released its first mobile phone application. NGC Coin Details is the most comprehensive app available to coin enthusiasts, offering verification of NGC-certified coins with additional details pulled from key tools in the NGC Research suite. App users start by scanning the barcode on any NGC US, world or ancient coin label or typing in its certification number. For US coins, users can view values from the NGC US Coin Price Guide, VarietyPlus® attribution listings, coin specifications and images, detailed descriptions and analysis, and upcoming auction data. The app stores more than 100 coins in its search history.
