On December 21, 2016, the Bank of Russia put into circulation the following coins:
- Commemorative Coins – A silver 3 Rubles denomination and a gold par value of 50 rubles, dedicated to the conduct of the Russian Federation in the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup;
- Investment Coins – A silver 3 Rubles denomination and a gold par value of 50 rubles, dedicated to the implementation of the Russian Federation in the World Cup FIFA 2018;
- Four commemorative silver coins of 3 Rubles denomination dedicated to the implementation in the Russian Federation Cup in FIFA 2018 world soccer events;
- A base metal Commemorative coin in a denomination of 25 rubles per ordinary and special performances dedicated to carrying out in the Russian Federation during the FIFA World Cup 2018.
