The set includes five quarters–all struck in 90 percent silver at the United States Mint at San Francisco–with reverse designs honoring Shawnee National Forest (Illinois), Cumberland Gap National Historical Park (Kentucky), Harpers Ferry National Historical Park (West Virginia), Theodore Roosevelt National Park (North Dakota), and Fort Moultrie (Fort Sumter National Monument) (South Carolina). The coin’s obverses bear John Flanagan’s 1932 portrait of George Washington.
