2016 United States Mint Uncirculated Coin Set Avail. May 18

The 2016 United States Mint Uncirculated Coin Set (product code 16RJ) will be available for purchase starting on May 18 at noon Eastern Time (ET).

The 2016 set contains two folders with 13 coins each from the United States Mint facilities in Denver and Philadelphia. Each folder has the following coins:

  • Three Presidential $1 Coins honoring Presidents Richard M. Nixon, Gerald R. Ford, and Ronald Reagan;
  • Five America the Beautiful Quarters® Program Coins honoring Shawnee National Forest (IL), Cumberland Gap National Historic Park (KY), Harpers Ferry National Historical Park (WV), Theodore Roosevelt National Park (ND), and Fort Moultrie (Fort Sumter National Monument) (SC);
  • One Native American $1 coin with a reverse design honoring Code Talkers from both World War I and World War II (1917-1945);
  • One Kennedy half dollar;
  • One Roosevelt dime;
  • One Jefferson nickel; and
  • One Lincoln penny.

Both folders in the United States Mint Uncirculated Coin Set display an image of a United States flag on the front. The folder containing the Philadelphia-minted coins is accented in blue, while the folder containing the Denver-minted coins is accented in red. A Certificate of Authenticity is printed on the packaging.

The 2016 United States Mint Uncirculated Coin Set is priced at $26.95, one dollar less than the 2015 set.
