2017 America the Beautiful Quarters Silver Proof Set Goes on Sale Feb. 16

Sales will open for the 2017 United States Mint America the Beautiful Quarters Silver Proof Set (product code 17AQ) on February 16 at noon Eastern Time (ET).

The five quarters in this set–all struck in 90 percent silver at the United States Mint at San Francisco–have reverse designs honoring Effigy Mounds National Monument (Iowa); Frederick Douglass National Historical Site (Washington, DC); Ozark National Scenic Riverways (Missouri); Ellis Island (Statue of Liberty National Monument) (New Jersey); and George Rogers Clark National Historical Park (Indiana). The obverse of all coins bear John Flanagan’s 1932 portrait of George Washington.
