The European counterpart to the American Silver Eagle is called the Philharmonic. It is a one ounce silver denominated coin struck in Austria. The Director of the Austrian Mint talks about the success and continued demand for this European Philharmonic bullion coin.

American Numismatic Association World’s Fair of Money

The country’s premier coin show and convention,  is held every summer at cities around the country. This year the show was hosted in Chicago, Il.
